Verizon Wireless has launched a CDMA edition of the iPhone 4 and is wishing to land the iphone 5! Verizon verifies they are generating network adjustments to deliver the brand new iphone to their system. The new iPhone 5 is going to be packed with awesome new features like video chat on 3G and 4G (no longer restricted to WiFi only), face-recognition and extreme downloading. (List of possible features below). Just when you think there is nothing different to come up with, more and more and more technology comes out. And it is on the rise, and not just at Apple, Inc!
This iPhone 5 will be equipped with a quick dual core A5 chip processor chip and higher more effective image chips that can supply greater video resolutions (5-9 times better) and awesome “still” photos when taking pictures, AND it will make multi-tasking a lot quicker.
There are a few networks seeking to get their 4G network off the ground. T-mobile would likely be a most likely service provider since they are GSM currently and have the biggest 4g network. Sprint has a 4G network currently but is suffering from consumer service.
They will certainly have the 3G edition of iPhone, but with the new iPhone 5 (4g speeds) coming out, will they compete?! No matter, there is much anticipations on how many people will abandon AT&T for Verizon Wireless mainly because of AT&T’s lagging on application limitations like Slingplayer and Google Voice and Skype (on 4g network, not Wi-Fi).
AT&T’s limitations have caused the percentage of people that are JailBreaking their iPhones to rise since Jail Breaking usually comes with Cydia which is the app store for jail broken phones. Most of the programs, ringtones, and even iphone themes!…are free with Cydia. Winterboard is part of the download, and it incredibly easily add’s the changes to your phone so you dont have to determine how to do it on your own…it is VERY computerized.
The Palm Pre on Sprint and HTC EVO (Sprint now offering a 4G network) has made an attempt at being aggressive with iPhone and Blackberry…and it looks they are creating head way, although with the iPhone 4 introduced and the iPhone 5 on the way, they are sure to lose. Oh ya, the Blackberry Torch? = Great attempt… but that internet browser is NOT full HTML. The brand new Triton Blackberry 4G seems extraordinary!
